Literature Text

No matter how far apart we are,
I love you.
You know I would run to you,
But an ocean stands in the way.

If you're alone, and wake at night,
And you miss me,
Just look out your window,
And find me, waiting across the sea.

The waters might be stormy sometimes,
And perhaps our eyes,
Are unable to see through the crashing waves,
That lead, to a happier time.

But for you, you know that,
I would bring the sun out.
Because no burn can be worse,
Than being forced away from you.

I would build a thousand ships,
In hopes that one,
Would take me from here,
To you.

Broken dreams destroyed by,
Ripped sails.
Only repaired by,
Your love.

I will travel a thousand miles,
Just to take a glimpse,
Through your window…
In hopes, you're there waiting for me.

Don't be sad…
Don't be afraid,
Of the storms, we may encounter.
Of the obstacles in our way…

No matter how far apart we are,
I love you…
You know, I would run to you,
With an ocean standing in the way.

If I'm alone, and wake at night,
You know I'll miss you too.
When I look out my window,
All I'll see is you.

There will be no sea, between me and you…
Before I say anything else, I want to really thank ~Vain138 for helping me get through my writer's block. She wrote a lot of the poem, but I changed a lot of it. Not that it was bad, but I really wanted to incorporate my style into this poem, and that's what I did. But ~Vain138 is an amazing writer, and I wouldn't have been able to write this poem without her help.

I was also thinking about my girlfriend, ~KikiTakeUrSoul, the whole time when writing this poem. I love her a lot. And I miss her a lot at most times. Sometimes I wonder if my parents or other things will separate us.
